Version 1.0 · Effective April 26, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of the Lattice Graph platform, dashboard, APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, and related services (the "Service") provided by [Company Legal Name] ("Lattice Graph"). It is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
By accessing the Service you and each of your Authorized Users agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in throttling, suspension, termination, removal of Output, forfeiture of fees, and referral to law enforcement.
1. Lawful Use
You will not use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation, including intellectual-property, privacy, export-control, sanctions, anti-corruption, consumer-protection, or competition law. You will not use the Service if you are located in or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, or if you are a person on the U.S. Specially Designated Nationals List, the U.S. Entity List, or any equivalent list.
2. Prohibited Chemistry and Weapons-Related Use
You will not, and will not permit any third party to, use the Service to research, design, plan the synthesis of, optimize, evaluate, or otherwise advance:
- any chemical listed on Schedule 1 of the Chemical Weapons Convention, or any equivalent list of chemical-weapons agents or precursors;
- any agent, toxin, or precursor on the Australia Group control lists or any equivalent dual-use list;
- any explosive, incendiary, or chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapon, or any precursor or delivery system therefor;
- any biological agent or toxin restricted under the U.S. Select Agent Rules or equivalent regulations;
- any material intended to cause significant environmental harm or to evade environmental-protection laws.
This prohibition applies regardless of stated research purpose. Lattice Graph reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts associated with such queries and to report them to relevant authorities.
3. No Bulk Extraction or Scraping
You will not scrape, bulk-download, mirror, index, or otherwise systematically extract the warehouse data, Outputs, or any other portion of the Service. This includes:
- orchestrating high volumes of automated queries to reconstruct any non-trivial subset of the warehouse;
- using browser automation, headless browsers, or unofficial clients to extract content beyond ordinary interactive use;
- circumventing pagination, rate limits, or authenticated access controls;
- chaining multiple accounts, organizations, or API keys to evade per-account or per-key limits.
If you require bulk access for a legitimate use case, contact us at sales@latticegraph.com to discuss an Enterprise data-access arrangement.
4. No Resale or Sublicensing
You will not resell, sublicense, white-label, broker, or redistribute the Service, the warehouse data, or Outputs to any third party, except as expressly permitted under a signed written agreement with Lattice Graph. Use of the Service to power a competing product or to provide a "Lattice-Graph-as-a-feature" of your own product is prohibited without a separate agreement.
5. No Training Competing Models
You will not train, fine-tune, distill, evaluate, or benchmark any machine-learning model that competes with the Service using warehouse data, Outputs, embeddings, schemas, or any portion of the Service. The narrow exceptions are (a) bona fide internal evaluation of the Service for purposes of deciding to purchase or expand a subscription, and (b) use under a separate written agreement with Lattice Graph.
6. Rate Limits and Fair Use
Lattice Graph publishes default rate limits in the Documentation and reserves the right to enforce, modify, or impose additional limits at its sole discretion to protect the integrity and availability of the Service. We may throttle, queue, or temporarily block requests that exceed published or reasonable limits without prior notice and without liability. Sustained or coordinated patterns that we reasonably interpret as abuse will result in suspension.
7. Security and Integrity
You will not:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system, except under a written engagement with Lattice Graph;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, any account other than your own, or any underlying system;
- interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the Service, including via denial-of-service techniques;
- introduce malware, ransomware, exploit code, or any other harmful code;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code, model weights, training data, or internal schemas, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to security@latticegraph.com before disclosing it to any third party.
8. Respect for Third-Party Rights
You will not upload, transmit, or otherwise process content through the Service that infringes the intellectual property of any third party; violates the privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights of any third party; contains personal data you do not have the right to process; or is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or otherwise unlawful. Customer is solely responsible for the lawfulness of any content it submits to the Service.
9. Account Hygiene
You will:
- safeguard your credentials and API keys; treat plaintext API keys as secrets and never commit them to source-control or share them in unsecured channels;
- promptly rotate any key you believe may have been exposed;
- promptly revoke access for departed personnel;
- maintain a single account per natural person; do not share credentials.
10. Honest Attribution and No Misrepresentation
You will not misrepresent the source of an Output, falsely imply endorsement by Lattice Graph, or remove attribution that Lattice Graph or an upstream public dataset requires. You acknowledge that Output is informational and may contain errors; you will not present Output as if it had been independently validated by Lattice Graph when it has not been.
11. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@latticegraph.com. We investigate all credible reports.
12. Enforcement
Lattice Graph may, in its sole discretion and without prior notice, throttle, suspend, or terminate any account that we reasonably believe has violated this AUP; remove or refuse to return any Output; preserve and disclose information to law enforcement or other authorities as we believe is required by law or appropriate to address risk to the Service, our customers, or the public; and retain any fees paid in respect of the violating account. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide notice and an opportunity to cure where the violation is non-egregious and the surrounding circumstances permit.
13. Changes
Lattice Graph may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated as set out in the Terms of Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
